As an advocate for the sterilization of companion animals, The Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center works to educate the public on the benefits of spaying and neutering their pets.  In addition to preventing health problems in animals, sterilization will help reduce the problem of pet overpopulation and unnecessary euthanization.

Although the Pet Adoption Center does not currently have a clinic, there are many veterinarians that offer low cost services in Riverside and our surrounding areas.  We have included a list for your convenience.

Due to lack of funds, the Lifeline Program is temporarily unavailable.

What is the Lifeline Spay/Neuter Program?

Roberts Pet Adoption Center plans to lead the City of Riverside to achieve a “no-kill” community.  All low-to-moderate-income pet owners, per their stated income limitation, who reside in the City of Riverside, are eligible to have their personal dogs and cats, and feral cats they support, covered by the Lifeline Program. 

Who qualifies for the Lifeline Spay/Neuter Program?

To qualify for the Lifeline Spay/Neuter Program residents must live in one of the following zip codes:

  • 92501
  • 92502
  • 92503
  • 92504
  • 92505
  • 92506
  • 92507
  • 92508

AND be:

  • Active Duty Military
  • Filed Bankruptcy
  • Disabled
  • Food Stamp recipient
  • Home foreclosure
  • Medi-Cal recipient
  • Medicare recipient
  • Part-time employment
  • Path of Life Ministries referral
  • Senior age 62 years or better
  • Single parent family
  • Social Security recipient
  • Student
  • Unemployed
  • WIC Program recipient
