Yelp!! — Not 1, not 2, but 33 new mouths to feed!

A local woman realized she could no longer care for her 33 dogs so she did the right thing and called the Mary S Roberts Pet Adoption Center.  She didn’t have to ask twice; staff and volunteers headed out and picked up 33 cute little dogs and puppies!  They need some nutrition, healthcare and socialization before they can be adopted so they will be at the Center for a few weeks.

Saturday, March 20, dawned sunny and the parking lots at Fairmount Park in Riverside filled up quickly as the Mary S. Roberts (formerly Riverside Humane Society) Pet Adoption Center's 18th Annual Walk With The Animals got under way at 8:00 a.m. The attendance, estimated to be more than 1,400 people along with 500 dogs, a few pigs, miniature horse, and various other creatures, surpassed that of all previous years.

Organization Honors the Duane Roberts Family, Longtime Supporters

RIVERSIDE, CA, March 4, 2010 – The Riverside Humane Society Pet Adoption Center is now the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center. Teresa Rhyne, a director of the Center, last evening made the announcement to more than 100 supporters attending a reception honoring the family of Duane Roberts held at the Historic Mission Inn in Riverside.

$3,848 to Riverside Humane Society Pet Adoption Center

RIVERSIDE, CA, February 4, 2010 – The Riverside Humane Society Pet Adoption Center (RHSPAC) has received a donation of $3,848 from Stater Bros. Markets and PEDIGREE® Food for Dogs. RHSPAC is one of 14 animal shelters in Southern California to receive a donation from a partnership of the two companies to help save homeless dogs in communities throughout southern California.
