Moving can be a stressful event, but there are things you can do to make it easier on you and your dog.

• If your dog is sensitive to changes in her routine or gets motion sickness while riding in the car, talk to your veterinarian about the use of a mild anxiety reducing medication.
• Take your dog to the veterinarian and make sure you have all of her medical records, rabies and other necessary vaccinations, and neuter/spay certificate.
• Boarding your dog during moving day(s) will keep her out of the way, have less of an opportunity to escape, and reduce her stress (and yours).
